One movement of money, as the service’s ledger records it. amount is signed, in the
minor units of currency: a sale adds, a refund or a dispute takes away. Give amounts
in the currency the account is paid out in when the service converts (Stripe’s
balance transactions do), so a sale in euros counts toward a total in dollars.
